Premier Fence of SWFL installs fencing throughout Golden Gate City and Golden Gate Estates — from quarter-acre city lots to multi-acre Estates parcels. Licensed Florida contractor CGC1523105, Collier County permits handled.
"Golden Gate" covers two areas that could not be more different to fence. Golden Gate City is a compact grid of quarter-acre residential lots where a typical project is a rear-yard privacy fence and a gate. Golden Gate Estates stretches east across some of the largest residential parcels in Florida, where a single property line can run further than an entire City block.
The right answer is genuinely different in each. In the City, material choice and appearance drive the decision. In the Estates, total linear footage dominates everything — and the difference between chain link and vinyl across 1,300 feet of frontage is a number worth thinking carefully about.
Both sit in unincorporated Collier County, so permitting goes through Collier County rather than a city building department. We handle that either way.
The workhorse of the Estates at $12–$22 per linear foot. Encloses the most ground for the least money, holds up to wind, and works for pet containment, acreage perimeter, and equipment yards. Black vinyl-coated if you want it to disappear against the treeline.
Privacy, shadowbox, and split rail. Split rail in particular is a natural fit for Estates frontage where you want to define the property without enclosing it. Pressure-treated UC4B, posts in concrete.
Zero maintenance, and ranch-rail profiles work well on larger parcels. Full privacy panels are more common on Golden Gate City lots where the neighbor is close.
Rust-proof, open, and the right choice for pool barriers or a decorative front boundary that does not block the view across a large lot.
Florida's barrier requirements apply identically on a five-acre Estates parcel and a quarter-acre City lot. We build to code and see it through inspection.
Long Estates driveways frequently want a gate at the road. We size and brace for the span, and build automation-ready even when you are not automating yet.
A 2.5-acre square parcel has roughly 1,320 linear feet of perimeter. At that scale, decisions that barely register on a suburban lot become the entire budget conversation.
Full perimeter enclosure on acreage is expensive and often unnecessary. Many Estates projects work better as a fenced house-and-yard envelope with a driveway gate at the road, leaving the back acreage open.
Long unbroken runs put real load on corners and direction changes. Skimping on corner bracing is the most common reason a big chain link or wood run starts leaning within a few seasons.
Estates driveways are long, and a gate at the road changes the whole property. Go wider than you think — 14 to 16 feet if you tow anything. Widening later means moving posts.
Many Estates parcels permit animals. Field fence, no-climb mesh, and ranch rail all serve different animals differently — we'll spec to what you actually keep.
If a truck cannot get close to the fence line, material gets carried and labor goes up. We assess access during the site visit so it is priced, not discovered.
Estates parcels are on well and septic. Drain fields and lines are exactly where post holes want to go — we locate them before digging.
We install across Golden Gate City and throughout Golden Gate Estates, including the corridors along Golden Gate Boulevard, Wilson Boulevard, Everglades Boulevard, Randall Boulevard, Immokalee Road, Oil Well Road, and Desoto Boulevard — plus the surrounding unincorporated Collier County communities toward Naples and Corkscrew.
Premier Fence of SWFL serves all of Collier, Lee, and Charlotte County — including communities not listed above. If you are in Southwest Florida, call 239-566-8642 and we will tell you straight away whether we cover your address.
Yes. Both Golden Gate City and Golden Gate Estates are unincorporated Collier County, so fence permits go through Collier County rather than a city building department. The application needs a site plan showing the fence line against your boundaries and easements. We prepare and file it.
Footage dominates the number. A 2.5-acre square parcel is roughly 1,320 linear feet of perimeter — at $12–$22 per foot for chain link that is a very different project than the same material on a quarter-acre City lot. Most Estates owners fence a defined envelope rather than the full perimeter. We'll price two or three configurations so you can compare.
It depends on the job. Chain link for perimeter and pet containment at the lowest cost per foot. Field fence or no-climb mesh if you keep livestock or horses. Split rail or ranch rail to define frontage without enclosing it. Wood or vinyl privacy around the house envelope. Many Estates properties end up with two or three of these serving different areas.
Yes — it is one of the most common Estates requests. We build to the span with properly sized and braced gate posts, and we build automation-ready even if you are not adding an operator right away. Go wider than feels necessary: 14 to 16 feet if you tow a trailer or boat.
They can, and that is exactly why we locate them first. Estates parcels are on well and septic, and drain fields often sit right where a fence line wants to run. We identify them during the site visit and route the fence around them — discovering a drain field with a post-hole auger is not a good afternoon.
City lot or Estates acreage — we'll walk the property, talk through materials, and put a written number in your hands. No pressure and no obligation.
